Aktionsnetzwerk Nachhaltigkeit in Kultur und Medien (Action Network for Sustainability in Culture and Media) and Thema1 are proud expert partners of FEDORA – the European Platform supporting innovation in Opera and Dance.
In 2021, FEDORA and Opera Europa launched the Next Stage Initiative to trigger change and recovery in the opera and dance sector. This initiative provides financial support and skills development to boost innovation through sustainability, inclusivity, and digital transformation. Within the Next Stage Initiative, Thema1 and the Aktionsnetzwerk have been the expert partners for sustainability since 2022. Continuing the collaboration from 2024 onwards, Thema1 and Aktionsnetzwerk planned, curated and conducted digital workshops for international opera houses within the FEDORA network focusing on the topics climate footprints, ecomanagement systems, basics in sustainability and good practice cases.
